Glenwood Primary School has been a licensed Take 5 school since 2021. Take 5 is a trauma-informed and whole school programme by Each Amazing Breath that helps to grow children's emotional and personal development. Please read the following link to see the many benefits of Take 5.

Ambassador training
Children from P4 and P5 are selected from each class to become Take5 Ambassadors to ensure the practices are held correctly and safely.
Training is held over 4 weeks with the support of Mrs Ritchie (Take 5 Champion) and two experienced children from P6 and P7.
Once trained, these children will practice leading in infant classes and within their own classroom. This ensures that as the children move through the school, Take5 practices are carried out daily and correctly for the highest impact.
