Primary 7 pupils took part in a special transition day at the Model Schools this week, giving them a first look at what life will be like when they start “big school” after the summer. The aim of the visit was to help pupils feel confident, prepared, and excited for the move to secondary education.

During the day, pupils toured the school, met some of their new teachers, and took part in fun taster lessons such as science experiments, ICT challenges, and team-building activities. They also had the chance to ask questions about timetables, clubs, school rules, and what to expect in Year 8.
