We have been learning about people in our community who help us through their jobs or services. We appreciate the work of others who make our daily life better and those who help us in an emergency. 
 

We had lots of visitors to school including our school caretaker, Mrs Gibson, local firefighters, a consultant and the PSNI. 
 

We can:

✅ Identify and describe helpers in our school and community 

✅ Understand the importance of different jobs and roles 

✅ Develop and show respect for others and how we can help them fulfil their roles

✅ Recognise emergency situations and know how/who to call for help

✅ Use JiT to draw community/school helpers 

✅ Use J2E to complete a graph showing what our class would like to be when they grow up
