Half-Term 2

This half term we are thinking about:

- Where I Live

- Monkey See, Monkey Do

- Children in Need

- 'Big Bedtime Read'

- World Kindness Day

- Anti-Bullying Week - 'Power for Good'

- And, of course, our infamous Christmas Nativity.

During our Talk for Write sessions, we have been looking at our model text, 'Monkey See, Monkey Do'. We compared the story to 'Hamilton's Hats', comparing the characters, plot and setting. Hamilton's hats took him on various adventures, each time learning about himself and the world around him. He grew to be determined, brave, patient and kind. His hats gave him the confidence and opportunities to develop his interpersonal skills.

During ICT, we used the 'Camera' app and 'Markup' tools to take a selfie and design a hat which would make us feel playful, happy, important or wise. Check out our gallery below.
