P1 Visit the Ulster Museum
The P1’s had an amazing time at the Ulster Museum today learning about dinosaurs. We topped our fab day off with a lovely picnic in the park in the sunshine!

We were presented with our green flag by Eco School Northern Ireland at Belfast Castle.
As we say goodbye to our wonderful P7 pupils, we do so with immense pride and fond memories.
You've grown into confident, kind, and capable young people, and your journey through our school has been amazing!
While it's always hard to see you go, we know you're ready for the exciting challenges ahead in secondary school. Keep believing in yourselves, stay curious, and never stop learning. We'll miss you dearly and wish you every success in the future - once a part of our school family, always a part of it.
A special assembly was held today to celebrate the achievements of our current P7 children. Awards for: Numeracy, Literacy, ICT and many other areas of school life were presented to the children.
West Midland Theatre visited Glenwood today to perform Pinocchio for the children. Lots of smiles and giggles for an end of term treat!
We were delighted to receive the Green Flag from Eco Schools last week.
We also came second in Wheelie Bin challenge and received £300 to spend on resources for school.
Our P6 children enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Zoo today. They got to meet lots of animals and spend some time playing in the park!
We had a wonderful few days hosting our annual Sports Day at Woodvale Park.
Children competed in races, including: sprint, relay, obstacle, sack and spud and spoon.
P5 visited Carrickfergus Castle as part of their topic of Castles. They got the chance to explore the features of the castle and find out about the history connected to it.
P1, P3 and P7 were invited the Family Fun Day organised by CRIS (Community Relations in Schools).
Children got to enjoy: arts and crafts, bouncy castles, face painting and much more.
The Glenwood Student Council members visited Stormont estate this week. They explored how laws are made and the roles of the people who work there. They even got the chance to meet politicians and journalists along the way!
We welcomed the Education Authority to school today to observe our Nurture class.
