  • Victorian Day

    Our Primary 7 pupils stepped back in time today for Victorian Day! Dressed in fantastic costumes — from chimney sweeps and maids to schoolmasters and ladies in elegant gowns — the classes experienced what life was like over 100 years ago. 

    They took part in old-fashioned lessons, learned about Victorian schools and inventions, and even practiced some traditional handwriting and manners! 

    A huge well done to everyone for their amazing effort and enthusiasm — you really brought the Victorian era to life!

  • Hello Yellow Day

    To celebrate World Mental Health Day, we had a non uniform day where the children got to wear something yellow to wear it loud and wear it proud. 
     

    Children got the chance to talk in class about things that can help them stay happy and positive as well as completing fun puzzles and activities.

    P7 had a fun-filled day at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum for their topic of Victorians. 
    They got to explore the village and visit the doctor, bank manager and farmers!

    P6 and P7 were treated to a workshop from Space to Grow, informing them of how to deal with their feelings, build strong relationships and communicate. We are looking forward to the workshops in the classrooms over the coming weeks.

    As we say goodbye to our wonderful P7 pupils, we do so with immense pride and fond memories.

    You've grown into confident, kind, and capable young people, and your journey through our school has been amazing!

    While it's always hard to see you go, we know you're ready for the exciting challenges ahead in secondary school. Keep believing in yourselves, stay curious, and never stop learning. We'll miss you dearly and wish you every success in the future - once a part of our school family, always a part of it.
