Talk for Writing Ambassadors

As Northern Ireland’s only Talk for Writing Showcase School, we are proud to celebrate the creativity and enthusiasm of our pupils through our Talk for Writing Ambassadors.

Our ambassadors are a team of children chosen to promote a love of storytelling, reading and writing across the school. They help to:

• Champion the Talk for Writing approach by sharing ideas and modelling storytelling techniques.

• Support their peers in developing confidence and enjoyment in writing.

• Work with teachers and visitors to showcase how Talk for Writing brings our curriculum to life.

• Suggest fun and creative ways to make writing engaging for everyone.

Being an ambassador is both an honour and a responsibility — our pupils act as role models, inspiring others to see themselves as authors, poets and storytellers. Together, they help us continue to build a vibrant culture of literacy where every child’s voice is valued.
